No, seriously, you have to try a little harder and if he says he really doen't want anything, ask him if he needs anything like tools or football tickets or something that he would be interested in. My husband always appreciates when i get him something useful and functional. I also get him at least one nice shirt ('cause I made him throw out a lot of them when we met...but now he dresses much nicer) does he have a pocket knife or a multi-tool? All men need a multi-tool. Hell, I want a multi-tool!
There must be something that he needs, so dig deeper!

I'm assuming you mean he wants nothing for Christmas. If you've been with him for 5 years you certainly must know if he has any hobbies. Does he play video games? is he a car fanatic? Does he collect anything? What stores does he frequent? Get him a certificate for his favorite store. If he has a cell phone, buy him an upgraded version of his phone. Seat covers for his car. I'm a guy, and anything I get I'm grateful for.
