This cannot be an accident if you continue to leave the wine where the dog can get to it. You are doing this on purpose and you will make your dog very ill. At best, I consider this abusive to your pet.

If he's drunk - make sure he drinks allot of water (alcohol dehydrates you and your dog) if your worried that he'll have a hang over - let him deal with it! He shouldn't be drinking alcohol and it isn't good for him at all (a dog's liver cannot handle it)
Next time, either bring your glass with you or place it where the dog can't get to it - it's for his own good.

My dog loves Budweiser and Jager. I have the same problem. Jake will not drink my water or iced tea, but if I leave an alcoholic drink on the table he will sop it up. So the answer is yes ,dogs can be drunks too !!! But it sux cleaning up after him LOL!!!

OMG! Knock it back yourself, and don't leave wine all around the house! Dogs can't hold their liquor as well as humans can.
It's also possible you have a poltergeist -- and believe me, the last thing you need is a drunk poltergeist partying with your dog.

If you know this will keep on happening why not be responsible and put it up where the dog can't reach it save harming your dog.
That should solve the problem that is assuming the dog can't fly as well as being an alcoholic......

I used to have a dog that liked beer. He would stagger around the house growling at his shadow.

Put it up high next time--you are allowing your dog to possibly get ill or worse!
