I have a patch in my head, how can i get the hair to grow back?

I was about 10 years old and I had an afro and I decided to cut a part of my hair with scissors. It was only a small piece in the front , but now since i have a short cut there is a small patch where the hair used to be, anybody know a way to get the hair to grow back?

apply castor oil and capsicum daily to it(dont mix both), your hair will grow MUCH faster their
