"Unlike most pecan pies, this one does not require corn syrup."

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy, and stir in melted butter. Stir in the brown sugar, white sugar and the flour; mix well. Last add the milk, vanilla and nuts.
Pour into an unbaked 9-in pie shell. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until done.

What you need is a pie shell(when I make pecan pies, the recipe says it makes one but I always end up with 2!)
1 cup sugar
1 cup light or dark corn syrup
3 eggs lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups pecans

In a bowl mix together well the first 5 ingredients. Add pecans and stir to coat well. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell or shells and bake in a preheated oven set at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. You may need to cover the exposed crust so it doesn't burn. Remove pie(s) from oven and let cool.

I promise you this recipe makes a great pecan pie and it's easy as all get out too!

The easiest that I have made and I have made several is the one on the back of a bottle of Karo syrup. I prefer the dark it has a richer taste but you can use the white. I also prefer to chop up my pecans instead of using them whole. Another tip bake the pie on a cookie sheet because it will spill out during baking. I serve warm with vanilla whipped topping. Make your own by using whipping creme and vanilla (to taste) I like a lot.
Good luck
