passports. everyone will now be required to have one. you can't get in or out of the country without it. It's a number assigned to everyone?

There will be nobody forcing you to get a number on your right hand or forehead. It's just to get you paranoid.

The mark of the beast starts with what is done in the forehead, It is not however a tatoo or a kind of cleft or kelloid mark but rather what one does with his forehead then to the other parts of the body as a sign of worship. Passport is done to assure the safety of a nation and the individual. If it is to be used for other purposes, then it is an extra precaution on the part of which country or person is treathened most.
Do not expect the beast to be coming, open your eyes, he has been here eversince and even much ahead before he was made known. Do not underestimate the devils work. All we need to do is corner him because he is hiding behind the mask of goodness.

As you can see the mark has much to do with buying and selling. Passports have nothing to do with economics. Any such mark instituted in society will definitely be associated with an economic program having to do with buying and selling.

I think that it will be a mark on the flesh somewhere, like a chip inserted under the skin... But i have no concerns about what it will be and i can say that i will never know what it is if i continue to stay on the track that i am on.... I'll be in Glory with out a care in this world...

A common theory is it will be a government issued card (like a credit card or driver's license) and everyone will be required to have one in order to purchase anything.
The "mark of the beast" will not be visible, rather a bar code.

A dozen things have been called "mark of the beast", just as the EU and the UN (among others) have been called the "world government of satan" and dozens of people called the "anti-christ".
Face it: every "prediction" (accusation is more like it) has been wrong and WILL BE wrong. There is no "god", no "satan", no "jeebus", just a bunch of ninnies worrying about fairy tales.

social security numbers . . . . . think about it you cant get anything without it. It was never intended for that, it was strictly for collecting social security benefits which isn't even a government run agency. Its private.
