How can you like someone who is mean to you? That makes no sense at all. Is he mean to your best friend? If not, that should tell you something.

An all time rule is "You never go after your friends boy friend". Its written in stone!!
If he is mean to you then that should be a big sign to back off and hang out with another friend for the majority of your time and let your Best friend have a good clear chance at this guy. After all she is going out with him and its not your place to get in the middle. Your job is to be there when he dumps her...and let her cry on your shoulder. OH and never, ever, go out with your best friends EX boy friend either...that is just so uncool!! There are lots of boys out there, so find a new one that you can call your OWN and not someones "hand me down".

If you like a boy who is mean to you and is going out with your best friend, apparently it doesn't matter what you do. Go for it and give him whatever you think will make him happy.

okay, listen to your own story, he's mean to you and he's going out with your best friend!!! If you go out with him you're a real ho! You never do that! That's the first rule of friendship!

do not in any situation go 4 him... he is ur best friends bf... she trusts you... even if they break up no matter what do not go out with him... i know from experience that it ruins friendships... i was the best friend... and my bestie went out with my bf after we broke up and even tho i was over him and i wasnt jealous it still caused a heap of stuff between us and now we dont talk anymore and in the end it didnt work with my ex and her anyway... dont risk the friendship... This is not a good situation. Try to do other activities and spend more time with other friends aside from these two. Distract yourself.

Nothin if hes mean now he proubly be mean later. You dont want him. You are just atracted to him becuase hes taken, he a "bad boy", and thats about it.

first red flag: "is going out with my best friend". don't you know the rule of best friends?? you never go out with your best friend's ex. find someone else.
