All the rest are no good, especially 25.

That's a pretty vague question. Did you mean what is the earliest age one should have a boyfriend? If so, I'd say 16 years old.

16-17. After going through high school, freshmen are REALLY immature, even though they like to act mature. Remember, the sooner you start dating, the sooner you will have a baby. Hopefully the father is your husband, because if he isn't, he can walk out of the hospital that day.

***********************************************************

For my son? No age.

For my daughter? When she finds a guy she wants to date and I meet and approve of him. Could be today at age 12 (Bin Laden would have a better chance joining the US Marines). Could be in high school (when she can hold a job and drive)

I prefer her primary focus be on her education. Then boys. Not the other way around. College is where she will date young men that may develop into a meaningful relationship. No puppy love crush will be permitted to put one hand on my daughter without that hand coming right back at him a bloody stump.

For more information, see the 13 rules for dating my daughter.

When you feel drawn to a particular man. In the meantime, play the field. Don't be in a hurry. When you find the man who is already extra special to you, then you can consider being a couple.

Honestly....over 21. I thought my bf when I was 15-17 was awesome, but looking back on it now, he was pathetic. It's all about maturity. Also, my current bf is 4 years older than me which really helps.
