Of course there is a good reason for being alive : because it's fun!!! Even when life seems not exactly satisfying, its loads better than being dead. The dead have no fun, they are so lame! :) U may not suffer if u kill ur self but ur love ones will. trust me, i know! Oh, and dont tell urself u dont have any love ones, cus u do....somewhere...speaking in general here....dont knowif u r thinking about death or anything...cus if u r then remember that teh dead have no fun!!!! the storm will always pass..there are always good things in life and every1 else gvae such good answers ! i know all this kinda sound girly ( i'm not girly girly tho!!!) but its the truth...be happy about life, no matter what. U dont make jokes about death...dont even consierd death

Sunshine, rain, fresh grass, babies, slowly letting an Aero bar melt in your mouth, loving sex with your partner, whispers in your ear, old people holding hands, the novels written by Vikram Seth,
love songs from James Blount, the smell of pink roses, five year olds playing with puppies, little kittens still fuzzy and bouncy, new underwear, fresh baked bread with melting butter, ice cream, starry nights, rainbows......and the knowledge that every single day you wake up, you have a new opportunity to make the world a better place. By holding the door open for someone, you have their gratitude; by saying "Thank you" sincerely to the person who serves you coffee, you have their appreciation; by simply smiling at an old person or the mother holding a handicapped child, you give them validation and compassion.

spending time with family and friends, going on holidays to dream destinations, finding true love, getting married and having lots of kids, earning money and buying the things you want, going on thrilling rides at theme parks, eating my favourite foods, vast education/career opportunities, birthday, christmas.....this is such a wonderful world, full of happy things as well as the sad things, but we should always try to look on the more positive side of life, all that negativity is going to do is bring us down. So smile and think of all the good things in life =)

I think you should make a T chart and put down you own pros and cons about your life. After the Tchart consult your family and friends and see what they have to say. Nothing and nobody on here are going to tell you what you have to do. Mine was a suggestion. Good luck on the tchart if you so choose.

You only experience things when you're alive. Any experience, good or bad, adds to life. Life is short anyway. There's no reason, really, to make it shorter. Enjoy life while you have it.

The very fact we are breathing is a good reason. The sensation of your body. The feeling of the keys beneath your fingertips. The colors of everything around you. Maybe if someone were to shoot you in the head like they did me, or maybe if a step parent tried to poison you when you were five and you nearly died like me, you'd be more grateful for every breath you take. I know it sure worked for me.

I have never seen so many happy optimistic and positive answers, the people that wrote them must be on drugs !.
Take it form me life sucks, but here in the UK you can get into serious trouble for infringing your own human rights if you do anything about it.

The fact that proper grammar demands that that 'is' should be an 'are'. Subject-verb agreement, or whatever it's called. That and chocolate! Are there any good reasons to be dead (except for heaven, I suppose, if you believe in that.)?
