I knew this one guy who was seemingly in love with my best friend. They would talk on the phone for hours, cuddle whenever they could, spend as much time with each other as possible, and would Email each other romantic messages when they couldn't be together. Then, one day, he did a 360. He stopped calling and Emailing her all of a sudden, and would get short with her any time she did see him in person. When she asked what she had done wrong, he told her she was being rude for assuming anything about them. I know that many men will pull stunts like this, but come on now- it they don't want a relationship, then why do they even start things?

Women "assume" a guy is their boyfriend way before it's been established. People change (guys and girls), so why do we have to be attached to a person "for life" if we're no longer interested in them. They weren't married so the guy has the right to decide he wants to move on and the girl has to accept that or else.
