Sounds like he is sending you mixed signals by letting you go and claiming he still loves you but then acting cold???!!!
Let this one go ... I know you say nothing was wrong with the relationship but something was up if he decided to cut it off.
Stop dealing on the whys and start dealing on yourself.
Try and get a hobby or surround yourself with friends.
It is tough and the longer you were together its even harder to overcome but you will..
Don't look to the past for answers just think positive of the future...

girl he is full of it. dont ever talk to him again. theres something else hes not telling you sweetie. you will get over it in time. take time to love yourself. take care and good luck. i have been there before and its not a good place to be.
