no this is not neglect. There are far worse things that people can do to a child. This is considered not spoiling the child to me.

No, this is teaching the child that it can't have everything it wants when it wants it, and it's also teaching that child to be more independent. If however, this is an all the time kind of thing, and he's never interested in holding/caring for the child, then I would have a real serious talk with him. Occassionally, it's good for the child, but not all the time. Babies do need to be nurtured.

Not necessarily. If the baby was screaming his/her head off, then maybe. However, when my husband was at work and I needed to take a shower sometimes my daughter would cry and I couldn't get to her right away. I wasn't neglecting her and took care of her as soon as I could. I don't think you would have enough to go complain to child services if that's what you're thinking.

No that is not neglect. Neglect is when the baby has a dirty diaper and dad won't change it. Or when baby is hungry and dad doens't feed baby. Or baby is dirty and need bath and dad won't wash baby.

in a way it is and isnt because he dosant have to if he donant want to and it is because it is his child
