How do I know if it is Male or Female?

Males have brighter feathers. Females can lay eggs without a male, so that's a giveaway. other than that sexing is imperfect. You cna do it by eye, with practice. Unless you plan on breeding it may not be worth having a vet check it over to figure out the sex of your bird.
Other then that they can try a blood test, or do it via surgery.

Males also are noisier because they like to display for mates, and therefore are more likely to learn to talk.

depends on the mutations and age. Under about 6 months you can't tell at all. Older, you can look at behavior. If it is loudly whistling and talking, most likely a male. Also can look for male or female sex maturity signs.
As for coloring, normal greys have a brighter yellow cheekpatch in males, while females are usually muted. Females also have barring on the tail in most mutations, but a young male (before 1st molt) will as well. Once you start getting into pieds, pearls, and lutinos (all white) you really can't be sure with color. If you go to avianbiotech.com, you can buy DNA sample kits if you want to know what sex the bird is for sure.

The difference between males and females are basically the colour of their cheeks.
Males are much brighter with a large bright orange circle surrounded by bright yellow and the females have a much paler orange spot and are basically less colourful.

The only way to be absolutely 100% sure is to have them DNA tested. With all of the breeding the mutations are hard to be sure with feathering alone. But if they lay an egg it's for sure a girl.

the male has yellowish patch on his head and the tail's underside is completely plain(no stripes). the female is totally grey and has stripes under its tail. the male also has a brighter cheek patch and is noisier. the female is more aggressive.
