I agree. It will be around for quite some time but I feel that it will have to change in a major way for intelligent people to continue to follow its teachings.

Just before the 1st and 2nd horsemen of the apocolypse.
Rev.6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
White horse is the anti-Christ (false prophet).
Red horse carries a great sword (great weapon). Never has there ever been a greater weapon than the nuclear bomb.
Get ready. The rapture is very near. I'm ready. Hope you are too.

Were you expecting Christians to disappear anytime soon or is this just wishful thinking? In the Bible in the book of Acts it is recorded how the Jewish leaders held a meeting to decide what to do about the Christians (this was not too long after the resurrection and Christianity was going strong). One of the leaders cautioned the others about opposing the Christians. He pointed out that if Christianity wasn't supported by God then it would just die out but if it was then they would be opposing God's will.

No, they will not disappear. And also, Truth is invented only once.
"The Standard of Truth had been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, and calumny may defame. But the truth of God will go forth boldy, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the great Jehovah shall say the work is done." --Joseph Smith, Jr.[1]

Unfortunately, I don't think theyare going anywhere. Between Christians and Muslims, they will see us all dead, or living in a world where we wish we were. The Earth would be much better off if their ficticious rapture would come and take them away.

There will always be Christians because Jesus church is indestructible - people who claim to be Christians will fall by the way side.

If they take away freedom of choice, women across America will make churches across America disappear ......... in a cloud of smoke.
