Most anti-illegal immigrants are those Americans lacking education and are most of their time working and competing with Hispanics for jobs and government help. They usually work in a Hispanic environment and often see Hispanics being promoted before them. They usually live in a neighborhood that is predominant Hispanics and they are the disgruntled neighbor. Educated American hardly sees many Hispanic in their work environment and usually do not live in Hispanic neighborhoods. Most Educated Americans appreciate Hispanics because they do work they don’t like to do. Not to be confused with can’t do. Most Educated Americans do not hate but understand

I don't agree. I am a multilingual American finishing up my business degree. When I enter the job market, I have no worries about my competition. My husband, who is also hispanic, served for this country and has an excellent job with a nice salary. I have no need to work if I do not desire to-however, it is mind boggling how boring it is at home. Needless to say, we are not on any kind of aid. We live in a majority hispanic city, but I like this. The problems with ILLEGAL immigration are apparent and well noted by even educated people, if you bother to read at all. I enjoy the hispanic culture(and food), I like the different products available when you live on the border, and I love my hispanic friends-most of whom think illegals need to quit asking for handouts and do it legally like they or their parents had to.

No, You speak in generalizatiion once again. You can not lump all anti-illegals together. I see Mexicans in my life and live and work in a college town. You would have to admit the people for the most part are educated.

I disagree.
But hispanics coming over for jobs I think isn't the reason why it's an issue.
There was a lot of Hispanic gangsters illegally crossing over to sell drugs. It's also easier to commit crime without getting caught.

You should post this question after you look deeply into the details about this issue.

Also read Jay's answer!!! I think it's probably the best one here.

Also, please consider one more thing: 'highly educated' corporate execs are happy to hire illegals because they work cheap, and you can just fire them whenever, and if they get hurt, you just call Immigration to come arrest them and ship them back. When 'persons illegally present in the United States of America' need help, like hospitalization, protection from abusive spouses, schools, fire departments, police services, food, and any other tax-supported service, it's the 'less educated' Joe and Sally Taxpayer who pick up the bill. It's a situation that's ideal for businesses both big and small, but it sucks for individual taxpayers. And if that's not the truth, then who keeps hiring them?

Whatever woodlander, you'll win no friends nor gain any points with your psuedo-communism, here. Hey, you're from Mexico, right? Pick a president, already! LOLOL

When you say 'educated', do you mean people that are like, school-trained, or 'educated' like immersed in pro-acceptance politics crap? Also, when did it become your divine right and privilege to tell other people what to think? You 'misunderestimate' americans by pre-judging us. Pre-judging. Yes. let's TALK about your prejudices, here...you make a lot of assumptions and baseless statements. That hardly speaks well of YOUR 'education'...and, if you're so smart, why don't you just skip right down to Mexico, and solve all THEIR problems? You're the boy genius in the family! LOLOLOL
And, as a final note, I've met quite a few hispanics, AMERICAN hispanics, who want no part of your 'open borders' crap, because they see it for the destructive scam that it really is.
Why don't you try to sell THEM your hype? Bet you don't get far...

Wrong. How about the people that used to work construction who lost their jobs because Hispanics can be had for a third the pay. A lot is the greed of employers.

You never cease to amaze me with your stupidity. UNFORTUNATELY there is such thing as HUD. Since you are obviously a rich white educated person (hey, you are the one who labeled yourself that way) you surely know about Housing and Urban Development? It does not matter where you live...city, suburbs, or country life...lower class Americans including your coveted Hispanics have infiltrated.

Furthermore...are you even remotely aware of the mal-effects from "Hispanics" and legal and illegal immigrants? I think you should rephrase some points in your question...it is more like "Most UNeducated Americans do not hate but THINK they understand everything there is to know about immigration and its effects on US citizens as a whole."

Furthermore...again...this question seems to have NOTHING to do with immigration! I believe you are in the wrong section of this forum. Huh? Whats that you say? Do you mean when you say "Hispanics" you mean immigrants or illegal immigrants...for such an educated person you sure make rash generalizations on who is immigrants and who is not.

Actually.. I am highly educated and I do not fit in to your classification of "most". Since you asked, I will give you my opinion. I will provide a simple ethical argument even you may understand. An "illegal immigrant" is just that illegal. They should not be rewarded for their unlawful actions by being given food stamps, free medical, housing assistance and schooling. This is taking away from American citizens that may need these services to get through hard times. A good example is the lack of hurricane relief we have provided this last year. The money we are supporting illegals with, could have been spent for people who actually have a dire need and deserve the assistance.

My wife is an immigrant and it took her four years to finally get her citizenship. She did everything to the letter of the law and had no problems. People sneaking across our border and breaking our laws should not be rewarded for doing so. As a good human citizen we should find a way to help them have better lives. Enabling and rewarding them to be criminal is not the help they need. They need help in their own country so they can be with their famly's and friends in their own homeland where they would really rather be if they could.

I would close with this thought. If the illegals who claim to be hard working and taking jobs no one else cares to do, who are brave enough to break our laws. Might they want to consider working as hard and being as brave in their own countries where there efforts would or could make a difference for not just themselves but their other countrymen and countries? Is running from one's problems really the answer?
