I've heard of them. I have the recipe:

Ingredients:
100lbs of chaste fairy
100lbs of dark, unsugared chocolate
700lbs of light, sugary sugar
about a thousand hours of prime time television

Directions:
Take your fairy by the hand
Give her love and a fat waist band
Add 100lbs of chocolate suicide
And 700lbs of sugary arsenide
Just after her boyfriend's
Dumped her lumpy 'arseside'

Whip thoroughly, she's been bad, BAD!
Sit her down to cry a tad
Turn on Leno she'll wish she were dead
Then Conan O'Brian and his great big head

Heat till screaming, "You slimy putrid putze!!!!"
(She's so cute when she's all futz)
After several years TV's tortured
Look what a fat fairy you've nurtured!

Serve and enjoy.

Fairy Rolls

1 cup margarine
2 cups hot water
2 Tbls. yeast
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Pour hot water over margarine in extra large bowl. Let cool before adding 2 yeast cakes; blend in eggs. Add sugar and salt, then flour and baking powder. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Form into rolls* and let rise again for about an hour. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 3 1/2 - 4 dozen rolls.

*I roll my dough into a large circle and then cut triangles with a pizza cutter. Then roll the triangles into crescent roll shapes.
