Yes confront it...are you sure she is actually gone? Having it is one thing but keeping it hidden makes it very harmful. This stuff should be gone, or I am sorry, you should be gone. My husband has stuff and so do I from previous relationships BUT WE BOTH know about it and NONE of it is personal stuff like videos or clothes. DON'T make it an ultimatum but do try and talk with him about it. Let him know it bothers you. Momentos are one this, this is quite different. Sorry. And Good Luck. Just be open about it without being mean. He may be holding on to something that hurt him. Oh and what happened to her that she left all this stuff?

I used to have a problem like that with my ex and I just told him that I didn't care if he had the stuff but I didn't want to see it out... Don't tell him to get rid of it, just tell him you don't want to see it around.. Oh by the way- how would you really feel if he went going through all of your stuff??? I don't think you'd like it to much and just because you get rid of the physical memories doesn't mean you'll be able to get rid of those memories in his heart... Get over it... You don't have memories of an ex that you still love??? If you answer no then your a liar...

GIRL. My boyfriend has a shoebox of all of his ex-girlfriend's things.... little memories. He's very sentimental like that. And I like to keep little memories too.

Does your boyfriend look at them often?? If so, that might be a problem.

But other than that, don't stir up trouble about old things. It's just something nice to look back on and say, "Hey, this used to be so-and-so's stuff" etc. It's not a big deal.

For our anniversary, I plan on giving him a memory box OF OUR OWN. : )

yeah.. id would tell him that it bothers you. but do it in a very very calm matter. maybe a few minutes after you two felt very close to each other. and start it with "im not trying to be rude i just need to know why........"
