I agree that its about 3500. so, if your wieght is constant, (ie, you are not still gaining weight), and you increase your physical activity so that you are burning say,an extra 100 kcals a day, then you will, theoretically, lose one pound in 35 days. Reducing your calorie intake at the same time, whilst eating a properly balanced diet, will increase the rate of loss. Incidentally, if you increast the amount of exercise you do, you will actually boost your metabolism so that whilst you are not exercising, your base metabolic rate will be slightly higher and you will lose more weight than you think you will by just adding up the calories you use during execise.

fast food is salty food if you cut back on the salt in a few weeks youll be able to better taste the natural salts in food and may not crave the junk as much as you used to
