Peanut oil is the best smoke free oil to use when deep frying poultry. But be very careful please, every year there are many accidents involved with deep frying turkey.

Have a very good, and safe Thanksgiving.

Yes just keep an eye on the temperature a little more. Peanut oil has a higher temperature it can take without smoking. but it should still have the peanut oil taste if you mix it with vegetable oil.

Peanut oil is the best because it has a very high smoke point and has a very nuteral flavor.. It's the best to use when frying a bird because it wont burn and give the bird a horrable flavor... U can strain it after and use the oil again...

Peanut oil has a higher smoking point and I know it might be expensive but it's better than an oil fire or a burnt tasting bird.

highly, highly advised....peanut oil can take the heat....after you're done with it, strain it thru cheeseclothe a couple of times and you can reuse it later......save $$$$$- recycle (re-use) it.

I don't think that you would need to use peanut oil, i can't see anything wrong with vegetable.
