Here's the situation: My husband is a sub/grinder freak. He had half a leftover sub in the fridge that he was gonna eat for dinner tonight warmed up in the stove. The problem is this..last night I cleaned out the fridge and threw away his take-out box with the sub (containing meats and sausage, no mayo) in it accidentaly. This morning while in the shower I realized what I had done and got it out of the trash and put it back in the fridge! So, tonight my husband had it for dinner, and he actually said, "I would've been pissed if you had thrown this away." What are the chances of him getting FOOD POISONING? Slim to none, I hope.
By the way, I'm actually a good wife otherwise!

1. I did not tell him, nor will I if he gets mildly sick.
2. Trust me, it's worth the risk rather than hearing him ***** at me about it for 20 minutes.

As long as he enjoyed his meal, then leave it be. Then consequences of eating that meal is insignificant.

Sounds like if he has you scared enough where you got up and get a sandwich out of the trash to avoid his wrath, he deserves getting sick. Don't tell him, and enjoy it. And think about getting a new husband rather than a new sandwich!!!

At least there was no mayo. That could of made him sick being left out.
if it was still in the container he wont get bacteria from the trash
So he may get stomach cramps or Diarrhea.

He probably won't get sick or maybe just a mild case of diarrhea....I think you should have taken him getting pissed at you though instead of pulling something out of the trash...yuck!

thats just sick & sooo soo very sad......i think u should of told me u messed up & threw it away.....or u could of just told him u eat it....lol i would just tell my husband tell him im sorry hear him BI** at me for a few mins....then ask him for money..lol to get him another. or just go with sorry hun i just eat ur sub it just looked too good...hear him joke around & call u a fat ***.......but i think ur ok im not sure.....what he doesnt know wont hurt him.....right?

Well, time will tell! LOL...I'm pretty sure it's fine as most meats in subs are processed with plenty of preservatives. Did you tell him you did that??
