Multiply the bottom price by the tax rate for your state.

Say if the vehicle cost 10,000 and the tax rate is 7% then your taxes would be $700

Tag, title transfer extra, usually about $25 for title

Yes- Just call DMV or check your state retail laws at your local government offices and ask them what the tax percentage is and then do the math yourself.

Go to your state DMV web site. (if you have trouble finding it search with Google Government: http://www.google.com/ig/usgov) many states have "calculators" on them that will compute not only the tax, but the title, registration, plates, etc. fees as well.

Congratulations on getting a new car! :)
