I've been dating my boyfriend for nearly 2 years.... christmas is coming up, his birthday is just around the corner from that, and I'm so overwhelmed I've drawn a blank. I have no idea what to get for him.
We're a young couple (just 18), and I'm trying to steer clear of really expensive gifts (college...haha.)
He's a musician, not into sports or fine clothing, nice guy.
I've done framed pictures of us, home-made books for him to compose music in, clothes, CDs.

He tells me he doesn't want much for Christmas, but I would feel horrible if I just made him or bought him a card.

Any ideas?

If money is really tight, how about a really elegant home cooked meal with candles, soft music, maybe even his music? Don't watch TV all evening, just cuddle and talk. Make it a very special occasion you both will remember. After all the wrapping paper is gone, memories are all that last anyway. So make a beautiful memory!

Yeah, how about a nice guitar strap (leather?) or soft gig-bag? These are personal items but still something he might not buy for himself. How about concert tickets? If he drums, new drumsticks! A musician will appreciate anything that makes a note....harmonica? Godloveya both!

Personaly, I would try to rent a cabin somewhere secluded like the woods, but in you`re case, take him to a place where there are no people and just be with him, like an old building, an apartment, something. if you want more advice, check my profile.

Any good Concerts or Musicals going on, that he might be interested in ? If possible, surprise him with the tickets. I'd bet he would enjoy a night out with you!
