Well, first, you need to break down the assignment. How long to you have? What are the different parts, steps, or how long is it? Figure out how much you need to do each day to get it done on time, or better yet, one day early so you can check it or practice presenting it.
If it's an oral report, I'd suggest getting it done at least 1 day early so you can practice--in front of an audience--presenting it.
Another thing that really helps is doing some work for a few minutes, and then taking a break for half the amount of time you worked. If you worked for thirty minutes, take a break for fifteen minutes.
If you have trouble concentrating, no offense, but you might want to go to a phsycologist so s/he can test you for ADD or ADHD. Then, you can get a prescription to help you.

I don't think you are any different to hundreds of other kids, the trick to this is to start. When you have several things to do seemingly at once prioritize them in order, order is personal but I usually go for the one I lease like first, kind of like eating veggies on the plate. Once that assignment is out of the way then the others are easier to do. Make sure you attempt one, even if you just write the opening statement. If you are stuck for where to begin brainstorm ideas about what the question is asking. Good luck and remember in life we always have to manage time and priorities.

no, some people are some ways some are others. I am a TERRIBLE procrastinator, I have 8 math homeowrk assignments due on Wed. a test on the same day, sociology homework due then as well and I havn't done a thing. Thanksgiving shopping, I am on my way out as soon as my hubby gets home. I just accept how I am and move on. I just strive to make sure things are done when they are supposed to be. If I try to be different it is more stress. Just accept it honey, be proud, focus on your great points, everyone has them, and get off this dang computer and do your homework....hmmm I will if you will!!!!

I definitely have genuine upload, i'm getting your procrastination discomfort in the worst way. What works for me is to fully eliminate distractions. as quickly as I attempt to place in writing a paper, I stay at living house with my laptop and printer only long adequate to print out all the articles i think of i'll could desire to place in writing the paper. Then, I p.c.. up all my crap and head to a 24 hour place like IHOP or Steak n Shake or Denny's the place there is not any internet and limitless espresso. I examine and spotlight my articles, draw up a depiction, and write the paper. If it seems there is something I nonetheless could desire to look up on the internet, I do all the stuff i will earlier I return to civilization (aka a place with wifi or my apartment). thinking you're nonetheless in extreme college, i'm having a huge gamble your classification time table is somewhat inflexible (and early!) so which you're in all probability not doing your self any favors by utilising staying up all night - inadequate sleep makes it greater stable to pay interest. do not rigidity out, i be attentive to you're taking college instructions and this looks like the make-it-or-harm-it ingredient to your life yet there is quite some time to difficulty approximately your destiny once you're an grownup (or a minimum of out of highschool). and don't enable everybody inform you otherwise. :)

As a mother of an ADHD son (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) it sounds like you are having a hard time concentrating and doing your work. It sounds like ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). I would recommend seeing a psychologist or neurologist who are qualify to assess you. There are medications for this condition that may improve your levels of concentration. All the best.

This is important for you to get through. You have invested time and money so don't short change yourself now.
Do something physical, walk, run, jog, swim or go work out in a gym. Release the frustration physically then your mind will be free to take on what you know you have to do.

I am the world's worse procrastinator. I use to set a schedule for completing things and reward myself after for getting it done. It takes a lot to get organized and get the work done. You really have to set your mind to it and keep at it.
