God never claims to have "come into existence". He says he is the beginning and the end and always was. Because we were created and have a beginning and an end, we do not understand that. A great mystery. How exciting it will be one day when we see him with our new enlightened minds and understand all things. The bible says right now we see as though looking through a dark glass but then we will see perfectly. Great!

That's part of the definition of an all-powerful God. Existing forever.

If matter existed forever (as is the assumption even for Big Bang), couldn't a divine being? Or was matter created?

People have such a problem with simple organisms coming into existence from nothing, but they have no problem with a deity -- who by definition would be the single most complicated, advanced, complex thing in the entire universe -- coming into existence from nothing. It makes no sense.

Your theory is flawed.

God didn't come into existence. God has always existed. He is the Creator, not the created.

You are right.
It makes no more sense that saying suddenly something went bang and the universe was created out of, what????

I personally find great comfort in knowing the one thing we can all be certain of, that there are mysteries out there that defy human understanding, and probably always will.
