As you say you are dating then you would obviously go out with him 2 years age difference is nothing so I guess the main question is about going out as a group or with parents you dont tell us your age which makes this harder to answer .But going out in a group or with parents is ok just remember if they are mostly your friends dont play stupid games with him that your friends may try,Give him the full focus of your attention so he is comfortable and knows that he is number one your friends after him ,if they are good friends they will accept this behavier and know you are serious about him as he will by your behavier .Good luck enjoy the movie dont be over passionate in front of your friends .If he really likes you he shouldnt need sex on a date to the movies and I guess the last thing would be your parents show them that you are responsible hold hands cuddle is ok and a goodnight kiss most parents would accept .bye now . john

I find that age only makes a difference if it's 1: illegal or 2: there's a huge maturity difference. 2 years isn't that big of a deal to me. My boyfriend and I are 9 years apart, and it works because I'm just as mature as he is (sometimes more ^.^). My aunt and uncle ( I know it's weird) are about 15 years apart. Unfortunately, my 'aunt' is not that mature. I think it shouldn't be a problem, and you're parents will be glad that you decided to date someone 2 years older, and not someone way too old. (My sister was 17 and tried to be with a 35 year old guy. Big mistake.) He sounds great. Go for it!!

That depends on how old you are, honey. A date with a guy 2 years older isn't that inappropriate unless you might be 13 or so. Otherwise, go and enjoy the movie. I mean, you're not getting married! Godloveya.

Girl it sounds like you have a pretty nice man on your hands. In my opinion you should go for it. And if you don't you might regret it one day.

okay dear.....i'm thinking this is your first time out wit him.... so i would say to you..."go for it" i don't think going out wit him wit a parent would be such a good idea but if you feel safer wit a group of friends thats alrite.
