No because fruit has natural sugar and sugar is fattening. 5 pieces of fruit and veg per day and a balanced diet with exercise will help you to lose weight.

Maybe. But if you do it will only be because you can't stand eating enough fruit for the calories to add up.

On the other hand, I'm guessing it would be a terrible diet since it would be high in carbs and natural sugars and low in protiens, fats and other nutrients you usually get from meats and vegetables.

If you insist on using that diet, don't stay on it for very long.

All fruit diet....yes you will loose weight quickly, but the weight you loose will only be water, not the solid stuff you want to shift. Therefore, you will put it back on the minute you stop the fruit diet.

Also you will need to make sure you have plenty of fibre or you will be running through the eye of a needle.

If you are talking solid fruit you will get fibre, however if you 'juice' it all, you may have a high acidic intake.

We can not loose weight successfully and hope it will just stay off. If we focus on that, that food is fattening and is the reason why we put it on in the 'First Place', then yes we will get 'fat' as we perceive ourselves and others to be. Others perceptions of us are none of our business, but our own most absolutely and definately are. Our own self perception is what our subconscious body reads and delivers, whether we 'like it or not', as subconscious only does what it does, not knowing right or wrong, just the signals we give it and away it goes.

The 'First Place' is 'emotional' then you will see the physical effects of these emotions appearing in our bodies. If we feel insecure about ourselves and are not happy with our bodys, we will put weight on. Louise Hays book...Heal Your Life...will explain that metaphyscially speaking 'fat means 'self protection' the bodys way of protecting itself on an emotional and physical level.

Treat the emotional and you will have your physical health completely back and not have to worry about stacking it on ever again.

I had been 'fat' all of my life, my teens and 20's the most worst. I was always between 62 - 78 kilos yo-yoing. I was healthy at 52 Kilos, never knowing it.

Now, I have been 50 kilos for 5 years, actually went down to 46 kilos and was told to 'put it back on'. For the first time in my 40 years I was 'fighting' to put on 2 - 3 kilos and it took me 12 months. No amount of 'food' would do it for me. I was gobsmacked and could not understand what the heck was going on. For me I smelt food and put it on. That was what I believed anyway, also all those diets I tried them all and the paid for ones were a rip off, ultimately.

When I look back....it was when I started my souls journey into the world of spirital studies due to profound experiences I was having. I regained my personal power....and with that my weight flew off me...one kilo a month over 38 months.

Today I can eat 'anything' however as I have a tummy that is little it only fits 'so much' never again do I clean my plate and as soon as I feel the slightest full...I stop for 10 minutes. Thats when I recognise I have no more need for food intake and to do so is gorging myself. All that does is give me massive indigestion and I am horizontal for a while.

Lots of water, Green Tea and less chemical liquids is a key to cleansing our bodies. The mind can do the rest....if we are not happy with our body we will physically reflect this.

See the DVD The Secret (Law of Attraction) and you will come to 'see' why many of us have 'weight issues', however this DVD also shows you how to correct them, and food has not very much to do with this.

What we believe about ourselves, is what we will get more of. So what do you think about yourself right now....our bodies will reflect this.

Blessings be yours in peace and light

No that won't be a good diet. You will have stomach problems and the poos really bad. Eat a couple bananas for breakfast and then a couple more for lunch and then a decent dinner or you could have a big salad for lunch instead of bananas I've done this before and it worked. Check with a doctor before doing anything though. Oatmeal is also good to eat when your trying to lose weight. Make sure to drink lots of water and no soda. Good luck

You'll get the runs but thats about it. The only way you can lose weight quickly is to cut down on your portions and eat lots of fruits AND veggies and drink lots of water.

Nope, fruit has sugar, this is not a good diet, you are better off on a all veggie diet.

It will just depend on how many calories you take in compared to how many you put out. You can do that with all fruit if you want, but it will lack some important nutrients.

No. Fruit is high in sugar- although it is good to eat fruit everyday rather than a candy bar eating just fruit alone can cause you to have many vitamin deficiencies.. Try eating fish, veggies and fruits as a good way to lose weight..Good luck
