because people are led to believe that god controls everything in there lives.
meaning he made them kick the chair with there toe. or he made them crash the car. etc....
wich isnt true. god doesnt control your everylast move and thought. the people are simply going by something they were tought.
they also blame him when they have no one to blame. because of the same reason above.

People are mistaken but they are not stupid or selfish when they blame God for things that go wrong. Every action is caused by a reaction; with this thought, when things go wrong, it is quite natural for an individual to look for the cause of the problem.
A person blames God because people believe that if you are a morally good person then God will not allow bad things to happen to you. Well, if something bad does happen, we wonder how God could have allowed such a bad thing to happen to a good person. People who believe in God feel as if though they are somewhat protected from harm because of their faith. They feel that if God loves them then they cannot be harmed. It is misleading to have such thoughts because when something bad does happen, that individual will blame God.
It is usually the devil that causes the bad things to happen, but at times God might put an individual through some hardships to bring that individual back to God.

I don't blame either for anything, because they're both fictional. Pretending for a moment, that they weren't, however, did god not create the devil? Is god not omniscient? So did god not know exactly what was going to happen BEFORE he did it? But he did it anyway, didn't he?

In that mythology, God created the devil and so is ultimately responsible for everything the devil does. God could end what the devil is doing right now if he would just destroy him.......unless you believe God couldn't stop the devil.
If I see someone harming a child and it is within my power to stop it but I don't..........then don't I also bear some responsibility for ALLOWING that child to be harmed when I could have saved them?

I wish people would blame themselves for their problems instead of blaming God or the Devil.

because when something bad happens people see it as God's duty to fix their problems, or to prevent problems. the devil can't help you, he only messes things up. but this a VERY good question. people should start blaming the devil more since he is out to ruin us.

I think it's because more people believe in God than those who believe in the devil. There is a growing belief that "evil" doesn't exsist. Most people don't believe that they will go to a place called Hell either.

Because God is easier to blame. If God would have intervened, then this wouldn't have happened. Most people are just too dumb or self-absorbed to see past their own mistakes and figure out that they make their own problems, God has nothing to do with it.
