They have reduced the level of security regarding hand luggage from where it was a few weeks ago so it should be fine but everything electrical, cameras, laptops etc now has to go through x ray individually so don't overload your luggage bit of a pain taking everything out of your bag and then putting it back. have a good holiday.

Yes, you should be able to. But if you're using a regular (non digital) camera with real film, don't take it in your carry on because the baggage check xray will destroy your film.

Based on your question I am assuming that you mean that you would like to take your video camera on the airplane with you and use it while in flight. If that is what you are asking, you most certainly can.

Maybe in your hand luggage but to be absolutely sure, ring the airport your travelling from or the airline you will be travelling with. Someone shouldbe able to give you the latest on what is permitted in hand/carry-on luggage and so on. Any room for me?

I believe that you can take a camera on the aircraft with you. You may want to check with http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete list of what you can and can not take on the aircraft.

Have a great trip!
