I want to have a song playing in the background and I also want to add sound effects on the same video clip, but it wont let me drag them both to the same place on the timeline.

Well sort of.The way i did it was I saved the clip with the sound effects as a movie file and then put that movie back into movie maker and then add the song. does this make sense?

i do no longer think of you could merge 2 vids at the same time, I surely have used the two the previous and new variations and that i do no longer think of you're able to try this. Get a extra useful video editor or, whilst importing records, go with "all document types" and attempt like that. Bon danger!

I don't use it but I know it is very simple to use, if you cannot find this function; probably, it doesn't have it.
