Reading. It is very enjoyable to be able to be alone and just read a book. No watching you or talking to you. No one walking in your peripheral vision. It;s quiet. It's great! A hot bath is equally inviting as a 'do alone' activity.
As to close friends, it depends on the friend. Friends don't have to do anything but talk to each other. That's what's cool about friends. Of course, we all have the friends who only call when they want you to do their thing with them, but hard to avoid those too. Friends just have in common whatever it is thye like to do. What ever it is.
