i said to my boyfriend, "you still like her don't you?" and he said "not really" .....what the heck doesn't "not really" mean? that you kinda do still or what? what would you think??? please be honest..

not really - like he likely still does but doesn't want to hurt or anger you because he doesn't want to get his *** dumped. Sounds like the type of guy who keeps everybody hanging on so there are no closed doors in the event he wants to re-enter. The kind of non-committal person that you likely do not deserve. What does she have to say about him? I wonder...
Either he provides an open and honest answer or I would say See Ya! There are plenty of great guys out there who don't want to use people and treat them like door mats. Keep on searching is what I think!

Sounds like you caught him with his pants down so to speak! Not really--- that's a pretty indecisive way of responding dontcha thing?? If he was sure of himself he would of answered something more like "NO", "HELL NO" even but Not Really?? Sounds very wishy washy to me. Definitely something there, keep your eyes open with this one he may still have feelings for her or who knows she may also still have feelings for him (for example if a recent split maybe she's attempted to still contact him??) These are all assumptions and food for thought. Hope you get some more solid answers in the future.

He wouldn't say yes that he still likes her to you and he was honest enough to not totally lie by saying he doesn't like her. Honest men are hard to find. Your job now is to make him forget her and replace his feelings from her to you.

Well, there is a chance he just thinks she`s cute. But there`s another chance he wants to go out with her.Or, he just didn`t care enough to properly answer. You should talk to him.

he has those memories of the good times with her and likes them. but if he said the words slowly then he was saying "no" and was trying to understand why you were asking him that question.
