Call the nearest chapter of the Red Cross and ask to talk with an area rep----they will know of meal locations that are offering free meals on Thanksgiving to the needy and deserving of the city---from there-- with a brief contact by phone you will be able to find where these people are located and if they could use some help
But --- you must do this right away because waiting another full day will be too late to get on board the helpers list--- don't delay--and you will never regret your making this move-- it will give you a feeling of pride that will pay you back a thousand ways for the little time and effort that it actually costs you ----GO FOR IT AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU !!!!!

In New York City the best town celebration can be had at
the Red Cross free MTV show. The whole day has need for
various volunteer dee jays to spin the records, and help hold
games and award prizes.
