Everybody on earth dies and goes to heaven.

God comes and says, "I want the men to make two lines -- one line for the men that dominated their women on earth, and the other line for the men who were dominated by their women. Also, I want all the women to go with St. Peter."

The next time God looked, the women are gone, and there are two lines. The line for the men who were dominated by their women was 100 miles long, and in the line of men who dominated their women there was only one man.

God got mad and said, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves. I created you in my image, and you were all whipped by your mates. Look at the only one of my sons who stood up and made me proud. Learn from him! Tell them, my son, how did you manage to be the only one in this line?"

The man replied, "I don't know, my wife told me to stand here."

Possibly, but power is given to us or handed over to others.

A relationship based on who has more power is nothing more than a business arrangement. If it cannot be resolved into 'sharing of responsibilities' then it is possibly time to move on.

Romantic involvements, relationships should never be a question of who has more power - at least not the ones made in heaven.

The world has changed in the last 110 years and women are now allowed their rightful place as equals at a mans side.

Unfortunatly men haven't (in many many cases) determined in themselves to recognize this.

We have to pick up the ball and run with them - not try to beat them.

In recent years the judiciary has begun to make progress towards the validity of single fatherhood - it has a long way to go - as does the male dominated workforce in recognizing the equality of women.

The fact of the matter is that the world is moving towards "equality" and us men have to suck it up or drop out of the race...

The corollary is that many of us cry because we see inequities in a system which still seems unfairly bent one way or another and we say in our hearts "It isn't fair"... there is always a space at the 'old mans bar' where we can moan about how badly we were ripped off.

The planet wasn't made that way... suck it up and respect each others contributions if you can't - or if she can't - move on or get walked on.

I retained custody of my kids based on adherence to truth - not as a result of feeling like I have to fight due to some percieved notion of being hard done by in society.

.. o man.. this can turn out to be a flipping disertation - gahh..

Relationships should not work that way... rant complete... have a great day! :-)

Women have all the power, but some abuse it and others don't know it and still others don't know how to use it.
