Yup, especially when its done by a professional body. I received a letter once from a potential employer and it was riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes. Makes you wonder how these people ever get hired.

Yes, definitely.... especially on this site. Some of the questions are incredibly difficult to read. It's rather ironic when they're asking about improving their career, and they can't understand why they aren't improving. Perhaps it's their spelling and grammar!

Yes, I'm a sickler for grammar. I want to cry when I see something like Bobs' Kitchen.

What I hate most is when people complaining about grammar spell it wrong: "I hate bad grammer!" Spelling and grammar go hand-in-hand, in my opinion.

Yes, especially the sentences that read like this:
"u dont no whut u r talking about. I M rlly smart." What is this idiocy? Are we all text messaging now? It seems like the digital age is destroying the English language.

I beat my children with sticks if they spell anything....ANYTHING... wrong.Anything to protect the Queens English.Pronunciation is also important. The youngest one has a cute lisp...but it doesnt prevent her from getting a beating if she mis-pronounces.Am I being TOO strict?

Me too. Everyone says, "What's the big deal?"
It's just that I can see our language eroding little by little, and someday it will be unintelligible.

I know exactly what you mean.
