You are actually in a position to experience what every divorced man at 40 wish he could. My advice, don't take it too slow. But dont be the proverbial bull in a china cabinet either. Stock up on vitamin K. Its good for the protein drain you are about to experience. Cialis is only a dr. appt away! Go for it buddy, and if you can, have a kid. This time you won't be as strapped for cash as before. Enjoy your youth while you can. Eventhough, we now live longer, the one's here, don't care!

I have the feeling that the girl either wants your money, or needs a father figure. If she was interested I'm sure she would have given better hints than that. I think that she is just a probably a naive 19 year old who doesn't realize she's leading you on. Don't push your luck.

C'mon Droop, Git 'r' Done.... Do you two have anything in common?? Next time she's in the office, invite her to dinner after work. Conversation over dinner is a sure way to find out if you two have anything in common or even like each other.. Good Luck

Yes, you know what you should do. Come on! you know she's young and she has a crush on you. You also know that you, as a serious, responsible, adult man, with decades of experience, have to discourage her. It doesn't matter if you are available or not!. If you need a female, go out and look for an older woman.

I don't think the age matters in this situaton. You've relized that she's into you and that she's been wanting to go on a date with you. How do you feel about her? You think this can work?
Is she accepting that you're much older and divorced? Then who cares! Not trying to sound mean.
I think you should give this a chance.
I hope i helped you a little bit.

Explain that we do have things in common but you are from other generation. It seem that she thinks that you and her can take it to the next level. You need to tell her what you really want from her and leave it at that.

she is young enough to be your daugher. I think you should NOT go any further than a friendship. She is sooo young and needs to experience what youngsters experience and being saddled up with a 40 year old is NOT going to put her on the path to what she is owed as a younster. DONT DO IT!

You know what you should do. She wants to date her father?
Find someone who is mature enough to deal with you intellectually.
You dive into this, and sooner rather than later she'll grow up enough to tell you so long, and look for someone she can relate to better.

If she's genuinely interested, why not? You're both single right? She's legal right? There will be obstacles, like the different places of your life you both are at... shes just starting out and you've already found your niche. But with patience and respect, it can work.

Considering that women mature faster than men and men mature slower than women you are probably about at par on a mental level. Stock up on vitamins and enjoy life for a change.
