If you had asked me that question at half-time, I would have said No. Celtic's passing in the first half was absolutely apalling. Manchester United looked the more accomplished team first half although they didn't exactly threaten the Celtic goal. I got the feeling that they were really looking for a no-scoring draw. Celtic continually gave the ball away and you don't deserve to win a game if you do that and don't even work the opposition's goalkeeper. However, Gordon Strachan made a few tactical changes at half time and Celtic were a lot better in the second half. I still think that Manchester United were the more dangerous team, although Celtic certainly defended well. Baldé certainly didn't look out of touch considering his lack of match practice this season. In the end Celtic deserved their victory because they managed to nullify the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Saha and Rooney. And of course, they scored a great goal by Nakamura and Manchester United missed their best opportunity. To score one more than the opposition is all that is required in the long run. Good luck to Celtic in the last 16.

United were not unlucky, apart from the penalty the celtic goalkeeper did not have to make 1 save.united were the same against southend.
you only win matches by scoring goals.
the free kick was excellent and deserved to win any match.
niether team will go very far in this competition.
the united squad is very week, look at the bench tonight.
celtic will always give 100% but im afraid they dont have the class to challenge the big teams yet.

Haha! Man U below average? Did you watch the same game. Being a United supporter i felt we played great for at least 80% of the game but could just not get the right ball in. The celtic 'free kick' was not a free kick but regardless it was taken with sheer class! As for the United penalty, again possibly a wrong decision, but unlike celtic we ballsed it up! I still think United will go further, they had class tonight, were just unlucky.

It was a boring game. It could have gone either way , but Celtic didn't deserve the penalty. In fact, that was the worst call of the game. Anyways it doesn't matter, Man U will go further than Celtic as usual.

Of course we deserved to win. As rangers fans always say it does not matter how you win just as long as you do. Why is it different for us you shower of scum bags, Is that not what you usually call us?
