I've looked in the usual electronics stores but I've always had this fear that they may tweak certain models and brands to steer customers toward certain models. This may be unfounded but it is a concern. I'd like to know what experience consumers have with broadcast reception, both from a rooftop antenna and an indoor antenna. I like the Sony Bravia models but they seem cost prohibitive. Thanks!

I'm only interested in a screen size in the 23" - 27" range.

Sony and Samsung are good brands. Their product quality is better than lower-end brands, which makes the higher cost worthwhile.

Sharp Aquos. I have the 45" Aquos LC-45GD5U, its about 2 years old, but is a 1080p screen. Took it over the bravia at the time because Bravias only went as high as 40". The new 46" Aquos is badass, I take it over Bravia anyday.

Doubt you can find a better picture. Look it up on Amazon and check out the 70 plus reviews. I bought mine at Brandsmart because of their return policy and their 5 extended warranty.

Pay the $20 to join Consumer Reports on line. They offer a complete review that is very trustworthy. The small investment will prevent you from getting burned.

I actually have a Sony 26" in my mattress room and compared to my Philips 32" interior the front room the Sony (in words of viewing high quality and sharpness) is garbage. My pal also has a Sony and the established of her one isn't large both. i wager my element is bypass with Samsung.
