I´m downloading video from youtube, but I can´t play the files.

If you have already downloaded them, then you can download FLV Player or Riva FLV Player and watch them without having to open Firefox, and Riva allows for converting .flv files to .mpeg or .avi

Since the videos are in the .flv format you need to get a flv player. You can get a very good one (and completely free ) here http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10505954.html?tag=tab_pub

Nope, not yet. the .flv extention is from a Linux/Unix based computer. There are a couple of drivers available, but they do not work to well and you have to run them from the command line (a dos box).
