maybe,even the early reformers held mary as important,somewhere along the line some yo' momma stuff started getting thrown in,sad huh. mother mary rocks.

Blasphemies against Christ through his mother:
-Mary had other children
-Mary was not always a virgin
-Mary is just an ordinary divine rent-a-womb
these things didn't begin with the reformers. all the reformers taught and upheld all the traditional teachings about Mary, except her intervention. They began about 100 years after ther Deformation, so they are so obviously man-made and I don't understand why some of these evang/born again cults insist on following these Dan Brown-type lies.
But some of us have great mother-in-laws. TV is not helping them at all either.

I believe that any one saying " I believe people started hating Mother Mary about the same time as people started",is full of them selves and other brown stuff.

I love Mother Mary, have not even heard someone say that they hated her, ever. I love my mother-in-law also, her name is Mary, too!!!

in truth there are those who hate the Catholic concept of the Blessed Virgin Mary and deny Her Immaculate Conception, which I find baffling as God truly hates sin and yet God the second Person of the Holy Trinity decides to (according to these people) places Himself for nine long months in the womb of a woman with sin on her soul, it really baffles me.

I dont know anyone who hates Mary at all
I am not Christian and i respect what she stands for
those who do not believe in her at all will not hate something they dont believe in
