Call 1-800-spay USA for a low-cost clinic near you - none that I know of are free. I think they may have a website too where you can locate a clinic close by.

The San Francisco SPCA spays feral cats for free. That is the only one I have ever heard of.

Check with the SPCA or local animal rescue groups, most cities have low cost spay and neutering and they should be able to tell you who to contact.

Try going to http://www.friendsofanimals.org/programs/spay-neuter/index.html and they have a spay/neuter program. When you type in your zip code, they will e-mail you a list of facilities in the surrounding area that accept FOA spay/neuter certificates. You can even purchase it online.

$65 for a female cat and $51 for a male cat.

A whole lot better than spending $300 which my vet quoted me on for a neuter procedure! =)

Call your local SPCA. They will usually spay animals for a low price or free.

Check with your county humane society - they would know who to refer you to -- or drive to Grand Rapids & take care of it with C-Snip (just kidding). We're lucky to have them. They spay/neuter strays for free & then they are returned to the area they were found in. Otherwise, it's ability to pay with no one having to pay more than $35. Maybe your area has something similar & the humane society is a good place to start looking.
