...I stopped talking to him for awhile. We were friends first, but not that close.
I told myself I would never let someone hurt me again...yet, I opened up and got crushed again.
How come I find myself wondering if he misses me? Do ya think he will wind up missing me, even as a friend?

As hard as it is to do this, I think the most important thing you can do is stop wondering if he misses you or not. It really doesn't matter either way. What matters is that you take care of yourself and work on your own self-worth/self-esteem. Eventually as time goes by, you won't care what he thinks about you. :)

That's the chance we all have to take in order to find true happiness... We have to open up our heart and soul to someone and hope those feelings are returned... If we don't do that we will never experience the joy and pleasure of real love... It's definitely a risk with our our emotions... We are wide open for the hurt you are feeling right now... It fills you with a feeling of hopelessness... It makes you even doubt yourself and self worth... and it's very hard not to think about or ponder on... Think about it this way, even if he does miss you, he left you, leaving you is a decision he made intentionally and it cut to the very depths of your feelings and emotions... He thought little of that at the time... So leaving you was a self serving decision for him... He had plans elsewhere... Beware of these plans falling apart and him running back to you... The knowledge that he abandoned you on a seconds notice will always be there... and he could do it again...
You will always have that doubt in the back of your mind...
As hard as it is, cut him loose from your heart... You are more deserving than that...

hey chick im sorry to here about everything. i have had my heart broken as well, i'm sure all of us had. i know exactly how you feel becasue i was in the same boat, take it easy. i know at times it's really hard to concentrate on anything else besides that person because it will drive you so nuts!!! you wonder if he misses you becasue you still miss him, plain and simple and until you get over him or you 2 get back together you will not feel at ease. honestly i do think he will miss you, he is probably thinking of you call him, it doesn't hurt to try. i'm sure everything will work out in the end. even if it isn't with him remember it's not the end of the world although it may feel like it, it takes time for a broken heart to heal. i hope everyhting works out. good luck.

Socks - I guess it really must - I really hate to hear of people mistreating others - I have never been in love or had a girl friend to hold and kiss - I am somewhat handdicaped and i am a very small little person - my mind is 17 my body is 2 - it really sucks
You will find some one new and go on to have a wonderful life -so be happy and get out there and get started.

forget him
forget him totally
not just put him in the back of your mind, get rid of him all together..
like that real bad teacher some people have in school, you just don't put them in the back of your head, you take them completely out and get rid of them, so they can not hurt you anymore, at all
get rid of all stuff that is associated with him
just do it....
you will feel better and better as time goes by, but forget him.

It is natural and normal to feel this way after having your heart broken. It is just going to take some time. But keep your chin up and try to move forward.

its called love.. first time's always weird.. u'll get used to it.. bein in it is wonderful.. just like i feel right now.. its like when u're high u don't see the world around u, u only see the beauty of bein high or in this case bein in love.. Never been high by the way.. just heard from friends..
