I am incredibly afraid of getting shots, but probably because when I was like... 8 I think, I had to get them in... a sensitive spot. I'm pretty sure everyone here is familiar with the dreaded "needle in the rump". I think I may be over it now, since I'm 13 (14 in 8 days :)) But I haven't had a shot in a while. The worst thing recently would have to be having an IV and liquid anesthesia (drug that makes you sleepy) during an operation, both injected by needle into my left arm veins.

I hate needles and I actually get very faint and tense before I get a shot or blood drawn. I have learned to think of something great to help me... but not yet over the fear

When I was younger I used to be terrified of getting shots. I still don't like it, but it's not exactly a fear anymore. Medical stuff still makes me nervous in general, however.

No problems here. While working as an EMT in the military over in Japan, I let the Japaneses interns practice their IVs skills on me.

No not really. One time I got a shot and it got swollen up, and I didn't want to get any more shots, but I did. I am not afraid anymore!

I'm not afraid of getting shots, but I don't like them at all.
Most people have a fear of getting shots. Just ask your dentist.

Heck Ya!
Shots are creepy and un-natural.
And the nurses are always so mean and un-sympathetic when they are sticking sharp objects through your skin!!!
