You can love at any age, and will probably love many more times by the time you finish school. Many high school romances last and many don't but love is something everyone feels differently.
Love is butterflies, thinking about someone and having a smile on your face, enjoying their company, talking with them, sharing experiences with them. Getting tingles in your hand when you hold hands, and just having that floating feeling. There are so many ways to feel love and you can love more then once in a lifetime!
Not sure if this helps...but if you love him, then let yourself feel it and if it doesn't work then hearts do heal and they can love again, but as a young person enjoy every moment of your life, which includes falling in love.
I've quoted this before and I will again...Tis better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all!

First off honey, don't EVER put your real name and where you live on the internet for everyone to see. That is completely dangerous. Love means different things to different people. It means the person you are with is your best friend, the person you want to be with all the time, the person you miss when they are gone, but when they are gone you have the knowledge that they will be back and do not obsess about it. Depending on how old you are, you will be in love, possibly, several times in your life. It is just different aspects of the real thing until you find the real one.

Love knows no age. I had my first crush when I was 5 years old and had many others through high school. Love is what you perceive it to be. The thing of it is, though, is that you need to live your life and stay a kid as long as you can cause when you're grown up.....you're grown up. Enjoy the life that being a kid and being free offers. Don't be in such a big rush to be with someone.

I married my highschool sweetheart at 19 and we have been married 8 years. Love is a CHOICE! Love is looking at your husband/wife after 30 years and NOT seeing the grey hair, wrinkles, chubbyness, or any flaws.
The feelings that you have are part of what makes you choose to love, but are not love in and of itself.

it's so fun to be young and really think that all that stuff is so important but one day you will grow up and realize it's really not worth putting that much focus on. It's nice of course to love someone and have that feeling but to let it consume you and thing that that is all what life is about is just silly. You will learn and only time will teach you.
