Tattoo design ideas?

Question

I'm looking into getting my first tattoo soon. I'm kind of looking for an image that fits the text "Don't want the dreams you try to sell" from "Suck" by NIN because I'm getting that tattooed below the picture. I have vague ideas, but nothing really solid right now. Let's see what you guys can come up with.

Hey I saw a really cool idea that I have actually never seen on anyone before. There is a way they can tattoo all black around what you want the design to look like and then not tattoo the actual design and its awesome. Try to imagine a black box with only white lines of a design inside.... or if you are familiar with the black paper in art classes that you can scratch off the design you want, well its like that if you want a better idea you can feel free to e mail me and i can send you a picture of what it would look like...

In Yahoo images put a search in for one of your ideas and see what pictures come up, thats what i do to get ideas, then pick one out and change it to fit your needs. Or just ask the tattoo artist to design one for you.

I have a heart with a halo over it, a heart with a feather going throw it, and on my top right side out leg I have a indian peace pipe. The beeds on my leg kind of hurt, the tattoo guy said women do tattoes better then guys do, lol which turned out to be true the guy I was with complained how much it hurt the whole time, I made a ouch sound once.

ill be honest with you i dont actually have one but wouod love one just one major problem i hate needles
however the best tattoo design i have ever seen is a mate of mine he has 4 tattoos down his lower arm inside... he started designing it years ago it is basically a cartoon of major event from a year ( he had one each year done) they are really detailed and with speach bubbles... so you could do something that would coinside with the qoute you would like to include ... good look ..

letters are the worst. they cost more than an outline and they hurt more too. when i get my tattoos done, they have a computer and you can browse through thier selections. my first tattoo, i wanted stars but i didnt know how big or what kind of stars and they set me up in a snap! call and ask if they can do it like that. oh, and by they way they DO hurt and bleed, alot. best wishes ^_^!

try putting your ideas down on paper... maybe a pic that protrays that to you... it should be a very special and personal thing... unque just like you...
