my new boyfriends has been married before i have never been hes been divorced now foor 12 years i keep finding pictures and love notes from his ex wife that he's saved but when i ask him about them he gets defensive i think he might still love her he denies it but the mores latters and pictures i find it seems all the clearer should i try to ask him again or should i let it go?

yes we live together he had an extra dressser he said i could out my stuff in so i was cleaning it out and thats where i found most of the notes

Where are you finding these? ARe you snooping...if so stop! If they are just laying around get a shoebox and start tossing them in there. AFter 12 years though the letters should be long gone. Thats just weird that he has them after this long. He probably isn't over her or the divorce. Do you know why they divorced?

He's been divorced for 12 years? And still carrying a torch for the ex? The guy has issues. He obviously can't move on. Time to look elsewhere, hon.

I would ask him but do so...gently? You could push him away if you ask too harshly.
I would suggest being really calm and asking him. Keep calm no matter what he says/does. Be honest with him about your feelings and concerns.

maybe you should just let it go. if you want to stay in a relationship with him thats the best thing to do.
