What right does any "race" bases group have in trying to dictate US policy? Its a ridiculous notion that any one deserves US citizenship on demand.When did this petty group of racists get to be in any position to tell any nation what to do?.Why don't they tell Mexico to help its own poor,why don't they tell Mexico to stop being so corrupt?
This is just too insane for me to even think about.The hell with La Raza and what they want.They don't have any input into this,its all just a race thing to them.No one deserves American citizenship except those who are either natural born ( at least one parent a citizen) or a person that has come here legally and fulfilled all the criteria for citizenship.My ancestors fought and died for this nation,they gave their lives so we could live as free Americans.This idea and even the thought of it is ludicrous and asinine.Its BS and should be treated as such.The hell with La Raza and all other race based organizations.Secure our borders,no blanket amnesty..

If everyone in the World was entitled to citizenship, then America would be the best dressed 3rd World Country in the World.
The Middle Class would disappear and you would see civil unrest and police states just to control the over populated peasants. In 20 years China would look under populated in comparison!
Japans auto traffic would be something America would envy. America would be shoulder to shoulder with 3rd world people that have destroyed a viable infrastructure!
The culture would be completely destroyed and people would be living like animals. Killing each other and creating mass destruction and havoc on man kind.
As it is, just with the current illegal alien invasion you can expect 500 million people in 20 years and half the effect that has been stated.

No other country on the planet has such a lacks and weak immigration policy as we have here in America. It is ridiculous that if you can't enter with the proper paperwork - you can have an easier time and better reception by entering illegally.
You can not freely walk into Mexico , Canada, Germany , Russia. Japan or Australia without a visa.
This is a land of immigrants but it is NOT to much to ask for it to be legal immigration. Every other country demands it.

No they should not granted citizenship if they entered the country illegally, they have already shown that they will break one law how can be we assured that they will not break any more laws.
If they are rewarded with citizenship for breaking a United State's law they may feel they are above the laws of the country and continue to break more laws leading to the destruction of the social fabric of the United States.

Only if US citizens are given the same rights, although I doubt that a very big percentage would avail themselves. Let everyone in then we will really be like the rest of the world. Poor and starving. I'm for strict border control to protect our way of life.

The question was a good one. The person that reported abuse probably was abusing the site and wanted to report abuse for the fun of it. The Yahoo! Answers people need to make sure the that no one could just report it without a good reason and the reason be true.

I just feel that the illegal immigrants in this country "cut in line" and should be sent to the end, just like in Kindergarden. Many legal immigrants feel shorted because they worked hard and waited to get here (personal experience) and other people can just sneak in without any of that

I personally think that illegal immigrants should be deported immediately upon discovery. We have enough problems of our own, we don't need another countries problems.

I feel you, my account got ban, for asking questions that the opposition were afraid to answer. My favorite one was " Name one good thing that comes from illegal immigration." that one was always untoched by the pro crowd.
We should not change our immigration policy, we just need to enforce it.
