What is better in general, the guy trying to meet the girls dad, or wait untill the dad requests to meet the guy?

I think the guy trying to make the effort to meet the girls dad. It shows that the guy is really interested in the girl and getting to know everything about them. It shows commitment I think and is actively trying to join into the girls life which cant be a bad thing. Waiting for the dad to meet the guy is almost rude; its like the guy cant be bothered to make the step to get to know the girlfriends family.
Thats my opinion anyway

well a girl would be more impressed as well as the father if the the guy would try and meet the girls dad without him having to ask because if a father wants to meet a guy it is a akward feeling so the guy should try to meet the father before he asks.that is my opinion.

If u have alot of respect for your girlfriend meet the dad without him asking about u and if he ask about u he knows somethings wrong/ its not going to work be a gentlemen and do whats right
