When its being pierced its not that bad. Most people flinch a bit and their eyes water, but its done and over with so quickly that its very tolerable. I have both nostil and septum pierced and neither were that bad. The septum was entirely painless, the nostril felt like getting my ear cartilage pierced, so it wasn't bad.
Over the next few days it will be rather sore to the touch, but not horrible. Blowing your nose may be tough to do for a while, but the pain will subside after 3-10 days and Motrin will help with the pain and swelling.
As long as you take good care of it, you shouldn't have any unusual problems. Good luck.

it isn't sore at all. Doesn't really hurt during the piercing, and I was never really sore after. Just follow the after care directions and you should be fine.

It's like a quick pinch and then your eyes water. If you can take care of it within the first few months following the directions to clean it and twist it around daily, you'll be fine. I've had mine for 10 years now and have never have any problems with it.

I'm a professional piercer... and i have both my nose and septum pierced.. and really its not bad at all.. its only sore if you touch it.. and it will stop being sore after a couple of days.. just make sure you clean it twice a day!

t really did not hurt that much with me
she likes to slap my in the face when she feels like it, so just maybe I was used to some pain every day anyways
but my eyes did water a bit

i dont hav emine done but im 13 and a couple of friends at my school have it and they said it didnt hurt that much they said it felt like a bee sting it only stings for a bit dont worry get back at me if it dont hurt or if it does hurt bye and good luck if ur really getting it dont ;]

it happens real fast adn the soreness comes after but ur eyes will water like crazy!

it hurts a lil bit and your eyes water but it hurts a bit more later and you keep trying to rub it and stuff.
Looks really cool though- if you got the right kind of nose go for it.

it hurts for like 3 seconds..but everyone is different because i had mine done with my sister i didnt bleed but my sister did like crazy.

my mom got hers done and said it hurts after you get it done. she said it does hurt though alot! im not trying to get you not to get your nose done i am just saying it will hurt for a while!
