Thats a good way to look at it, plus, something that should be cold or hot doesnt taste good anymore when its warm. No longer pleasing.

Not really. Bacteria can survive in an enormous range of temperatures. In fact, bacteria are generally happiest in the upper range of temperatures, as long as it is well below boiling. Hot food that's within the right temperature range for human consumption is the ideal medium for growth. Jesus may have been a wise man, but trying to make him into a scientist is not the right way to go.

I assume you are referring to Rev. 3:14-22. If so, you need to think about it in the context of water.

If you have hot water, it is soothing to aching muscles and warms you on a cold day. If you have cold water, it is refreshing to you after exertion. If you are lukewarm (neither soothing and comforting to others, nor refreshing to the spirit of others), then you are worthless.

Laodicea was a city famed for its hot springs and was near another city famous for its crystal clear water.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the letter to church of Laodicea in Revelation chapter 3. There's no mention of bacteria or food in that passage, so I have no idea where you got that idea from. What that passage means is that Christ knows that those people are fence sitters. They claim the righteousness of Christ but don't show it by their actions.

That verse talks approximately people who attempt to get into heaven some different way than serving Jesus Christ, being politically astonishing won't get you into heaven, going alongside with the team won't get you into heaven,, some human beings attempt to straddle the fence with the point to communicate, they like to stay their way yet flow to heaven besides,, and Jesus says that may not artwork, John 14 verse 6 says i'm the way the certainty and the existence, no guy cometh unto the daddy yet via me..

On the basis that bacteria were not discovered for another 1600 years or so, I doubt it.

HE meant that lukewarmness is a state similar to wishy-washy, no conviction, so so, maybe attitude, what HE wants is conviction, either you're in or you're out none of this middle crap.
