girl, i can totally relate to that same situation, but try talking to him if that dont work then it dont, but show off a lil' but not a lot they tend to think that is a turn off, so just be urself forget it if he dont like u, find someone who does, but for me when i was in that situation, now with that say boy, that is now a guy--we have bin dating for 4 yrs. i didnt show nothing but my real personality and attitude, and was myself--now look where i am, i think hes bin packing that ring around....lol. good luck

This reminds me of me when I was a teen.I ended up going to town with him and 3 of his mates and my mate.If youre out in a group it will be easier to chat to him. Or hold a small party and invite him but make sure your parents are there so things dont get out of hand, good luck.

Introduce yourself to him, either directly or find someone who knows him and get them to introduce you. Then at least he'll know who you are. Do your best to do some digging, find out what nights out he'll be on, what parties he'll be at etc... Then go too and be friendly and chatty to him. He might not be at all like you think he is in your head.
