Doughnut holes! If you have a can of refrigerator biscuits, like Grands, here's a quickie 2 minute YUM snack. Break biscuit dough into tablespoon size lumps with your hands. Heat to almost high 3/4 inch oil in skillet. Never leave the skillet. When oil is hot, drop biscuit lumps into the fat. Stay with them. They brown up FAST. Turn them with a spatula. They brown up even faster on the second side. Use a holely spoon and remove the doughnut holes from the oil as soon as they start to get golden on the second side. Place on paper towel. Turn off oil and leave until it cools. Sprinkle the doughnut holes with table sugar and eat while hot. Ta Da!

Eat wisely. Choose foods that will be good for your health in the long term. When your body has too much sugar your blood becomes thick like syrup and your heart must work much harder to even pump your blood. (the same with greasy oily foods) Your smaller veins and arteries become stretched and clogged from the yucky sugary thick gooey blood and become so damaged they do not do their job corrrectly. All of those arteries and veins then become sickly and destroyed by poor functionioning blood. Your heart will have to work many times harder to even pump that blood through those veins that are being stretched and clogged up. Just as a car breaks down... so can your body... but if you maintain it properly it will last longer for you. Diabetes type 2 (too much blood sugar) is rapidly on the rise in part to people not eating properly and it is a most dangerous disease to have. Limbs must be amputated and people go blind. Legs and feet become numb and you will have constant pin prick tingle. .. Same with your heart, your liver, and kidneys- too much sugar in your blood will damage them for life... so my answer to you is to eat wisely. Remember, YOU are the president of your own company (yourself, your body, and your life and your every decision) so eat fruits and veggies and proteins (meats beans) within well balanced meals. Snacks are good- but small amounts and again not too much sugar or bready foods. If you want to have one day a week to just go for it - and eat everything... fine. The decisions you make for your own life will determine your personal happiness and success within this great life life we all live.
